Abelia “Kaleidoscope” - Abelia

This Abelia is aptly named: in spring it lights up with bright yellow and green variegation; in summer the foliage darkens to a deep green with a golden-creamy yellow outer edge; in autumn it changes through shades of green, yellow, orange, and red.

Abelia x grandiflora “Edward Goucher” - Abelia

Edward Goucher is a graceful arching evergreen shrub with oval bright green leaves which are bronze when young and produce lilac-pink flowers from mid summer to autumn. Suited to beds, borders, containers, walls and trellises.

Aucuba japonica “Golden King” – Japanese Laurel

A low maintenance, evergreen shrub with large leaves blotched with golden-yellow. It will grow well in all but waterlogged soils, and is ideal for banks and slopes, as hedging/screens, and in containers.

Azalea - Evergreen

This hardy shrub produces profuse, vibrant blooms during late spring. The foliage is compact and evergreen. Grows 45cm high x 60cm wide after 5 years. Pot diameter: 10cm.

Berberis darwinii – Darwin’s Barberry

This low maintenance evergreen shrub produces dark-orange flowers in spring, with dark-green foliage remaining in all seasons. It bears a blue-black fruit in summer. Ideal for hedging and screening, or as ground cover on banks and slopes.

Berberis thunbergii “Admiration” – Japanese Barberry

This small, compact, rounded deciduous shrub produces yellow-edged purple-red leaves, pale pink flowers in summer and crimson berries and leaves in autumn. It is low maintenance and ideal for banks and slopes, beds and borders.

Buddleja “Pink Delight” - Butterfly Bush

Pink Delight is a medium-sized deciduous shrub with arching branches, lance-shaped leaves and slender panicles of sweetly fragrant pink flowers. This nectar rich plant will encourage beneficial wildlife into your garden.

Buddleja “Santana” - Butterfly Bush

Camellia Pink

This lovely Camellia produces beautiful big blooms during late winter and early spring, set against glossy evergreen foliage. Performs well in a tub with ericaceous compost. Grows 90cm high x 60cm wide after 5 years. Pot diameter: 10cm.

Camellia Pink – Semi-Double - Camellia

Cistus x corbariensis – White Rock Rose

Corbariensis is a rounded, evergreen shrub with shiny green leaves and pink buds that open to pure white, with yellow centres throughout summer. Low maintenance, and excellent as ground cover on banks and slopes.

Cistus x pulverulentus “Sunset” – Rock Rose

This low, spreading evergreen shrub displays whorled, grey-green leaves and clusters of yellow-centred, rose-pink flowers in summer. Low maintenance, and excellent as ground cover on banks and slopes.

Convolvulus cneorum – Bindweed

A compact evergreen shrub with narrow, oblong, silvery leaves and funnel-shaped white flowers flushed pink in bud. Good for containers grown in a gritty loam-based soil.

Cordyline Australis - Torbay Palm

This hardy perennial produces ascending, evergreen, sword-like leaves all year round. Very good in tubs for the first couple of years, then in mixed borders where they will eventually have tiny, fragrant flowers in June.

Cornus alba “Kesselringii” - Black Stem Dog Wood

The dark black stems of this striking plant form an amazing contrast and backdrop to all manner of other plants throughout the winter months. In spring, lush green leaves cover the plant, followed by small white blooms in summer.

Cornus sanguinea “Midwinter Fire” – Dogwood

Midwinter Fire is an upright, deciduous shrub with green leaves turning deep-red in autumn. Its young shoots are orange-yellow tipped in red through winter. It bears small white flowers in summer followed by black berries in autumn.

Cotinus coggygria “Royal Purple” – Smoke Tree

This popular plant has deep maroon leaves that turn bright orange before falling in autumn. In summer it is covered with a smoky haze of soft open pinkish flower plumes, giving it a smoke-like appearance.

Deutzia x hybrida “Pink Pompom” Deutzia

Masses of beautiful double pink flowers will cover this deciduous shrub from June to July. Hardy and easy to grow, it is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.

Escallonia “Apple Blossom” Escallonia

This compact, evergreen shrub has small, glossy dark green leaves and bears small pink and white flowers from early summer. Great in beds and borders, and as hedging/screening.

Escallonia Iveyi - Escallonia

Lovely, glossy, dark green foliage that looks good all year round. Masses of tiny, white summer flowers when established. Ideal for winter patio containers for its first year, before being moved to a mixed border. Hardy, evergreen and easy.

Escallonia laevis “Gold Ellen” Escallonia

Gold Ellen is an evergreen shrub with yellow leaves splashed with green. In mid to late summer, it bears clusters of large pink flowers. Great in beds and borders, and as hedging/screening.

Eucalyptus gunnii – Gum Tree

Eucalyptus gunnii is a large evergreen tree with peeling cream and brown bark and clusters of small white flowers. Its leaves are round and a bright glaucous-blue when young, turning grey-green with age.

Euonymus Japonicus - Japanese Spindle

A dense, compact, evergreen shrub with dark green leaves narrowly edged with yellow. Small, insignificant, green flowers bloom in summer and are occasionally followed by fruit in autumn.

Euonymus japonicus Microphyllus Pulchellus

An extremely versatile dwarf foliage shrub which looks especially good in spring. It is hardy and evergreen, making it perfect for beginners. Ideal for bed edges or winter containers. Grows 30cm high x 30cm wide after 5 years.

Fuchsia “Riccartonii” - Fuchsia

In summer and autumn this upright, mid-sized, deciduous shrub bears small, single flowers with crimson tube and sepals, and violet-purple petals. Its leaves are small and mid-green.

Hebe “Autumn Glory” - Shrubby Veronica

Ideal in beds, borders and containers, Autumn Glory is a small evergreen shrub with rounded green ovate leaves that have purplish edges. From mid-summer through autumn, it produces spikes of purple flowers.
